No One Is Coming
There is a concept that has traveled through most of the world’s major religions in different costumes: the idea that someone or something outside of you will intervene, redeem you, lift the weight, settle the debt. This is a human addition. It is not the truth.
What Original Sin Actually Is
The concept of original sin has been used as a mechanism of guilt, obligation, and institutional control for centuries. But strip away the theological scaffolding and something precise is being described.
When you first arrived here — your first moment of conscious experience — you made an impression. That is the original karma. Not a moral failing. Not a sin in the ethical sense. Simply: the first impression was made, and now there is a bank of experience that must be lived through.
No one settles that bank for you. No external figure, no prayer, no ritual, no confession. You go through it. That is the path. That is the only path.
The Bank Account That Can Never Balance
Every tradition describes the accumulation as a ledger. And every tradition implies the goal is to balance it — that liberation comes when the account reaches zero.
But here is what any accountant will tell you: books never balance. The karmic ledger is the same. There is no amount of good deed, no quantity of meditation, no accumulation of merit that settles every entry before more arrive.
The exit was never through balancing the account. The exit is through dissolving the accountant. When the I dissolves completely into the Sound Current, the account exists but has no owner. A bank account with no account holder cannot be accessed.
The exit was never through balancing the account. The exit is through dissolving the accountant. — Dr. Papneja
The Two Choices
From the side of the source, draw arrows moving toward you. Each arrow is something arriving in your life — success, failure, health, illness, relationship, loss. Everything arrives from the same direction. Not some things. Everything.
You have exactly two choices about how to meet it. Only two. There are no others.
The first: stand in the path of everything arriving and try to manage it. Juggle the success and the failure simultaneously. This is what most people call life. It is also why most people are exhausted. The volume of what arrives is not manageable. It was never designed to be.
The second: cross the line. Move to the side of the source that everything is coming from. Stop managing the arrows. Deepen your connection to the source they are coming from.
What Each Choice Produces
When you are engaged with what is arriving, the engagement produces impressions, exhaustion, and the accumulating weight of a life managed rather than lived.
When you are engaged with what is sending, the engagement produces the only thing that actually resolves anything: the connection to the consciousness and the Sound Current that is the source of every arrow that ever arrived.
Are you juggling life, or surrendering to the one who is sending it? That is the only question. Everything else is a detail.
