Scholarship
The program fee is not arbitrary, and it is not about revenue. It is about the level of commitment the Online Immersion demands in return. That said, a limited number of donor-sponsored scholarship places are available for those who are genuinely unable to meet the fee.
On The Fee
Why the fee is what it is
The Online Immersion asks a great deal of you. Thirty-five days of structured daily practice. Lifestyle adjustments that touch your diet, your sleep, your relationships, and your relationship to your own mind. The kind of inner work the program is designed to produce does not happen in a person who is only partly committed.
The fee calibrates commitment before the program begins. It is the first test — not of your worthiness, but of your seriousness. Someone who has made a real financial sacrifice to be here arrives differently than someone who did not. That difference matters for the work.
The fee is not a price of admission. It is a measure of skin in the game.
Admission is granted freely — the public teachings, the readings, the articles, the books are available to everyone without cost or commitment. The fee governs access to direct personal instruction. That has a different logic.
For most people, the fee is the right number. For a small number of people, it represents a genuine barrier — not a preference, not a negotiation — but a real structural impossibility given their current financial circumstances. The scholarship exists for that specific group.
On The Scholarship
Why the scholarship exists
A limited number of donor-sponsored scholarship places are available each intake. A scholarship concession adjusts the fee relative to your verified household income and financial situation. There is no fixed formula and no fixed discount. Scholarship amounts are calculated relative to the standard program fee and verified household income. Each application is reviewed individually. If a concession is offered, the adjusted fee will still represent a meaningful financial commitment — because that commitment is part of the work.
Scholarship funding comes from donors who believe this work should not be inaccessible to those who are genuinely ready for it.
Dr. Papneja serves as the custodian of these funds — tasked with ensuring they are allocated to practitioners ready for the work, not to those looking for a lower price. Full financial transparency is required to protect the integrity of the donor’s gift. Incomplete or unverified applications will not be reviewed.
If you receive a concession, someone else has made it possible. That is worth sitting with before you apply.
The scholarship is not for people who would prefer to pay less. It is not a negotiation. If the full fee is within your reach — even if it requires planning and sacrifice — that is the path. The application process below is designed to make the distinction clear.
Application
How to apply
All applications are submitted by email to contact@papneja.com with the subject line: Scholarship Application — [Your Full Name].
Incomplete applications will not receive a response. Please submit all required documents in a single email.
I | TAX RETURNS — LAST 3 YEARS Your personal tax returns for the last three years. The mailing address on the returns must be legible — this is required for verification. All other personal identifiers are at your discretion to redact. |
II | HOUSEHOLD INCOME STATEMENT A brief written statement of your total household income — meaning all income in your household, from all sources, including a spouse or partner if applicable. Please include the number of dependents in your household. |
III | CURRENT EMPLOYMENT STATUS Your current occupation and employment situation. If you are not currently employed, explain why — and what steps you are taking to change that. Educational background is also relevant here. |
IV | CURRENT LIVING SITUATION Where you live and your primary mailing address. Whether you rent or own. A brief description of your living circumstances. |
V | 1,000-WORD ESSAY In your own words: why do you believe a concession is warranted in your case? What is your current financial situation, and why does the standard fee represent a genuine barrier — not a preference? What is drawing you to this work, and why now? This essay is reviewed in full. If it reads as incomplete, performative, or AI-generated, the application will not proceed. |
Once a complete application is received, you will hear back within 14 days. If a concession is offered, the adjusted fee and next steps will be communicated directly.
A Note
Before you apply
Most people who inquire about scholarships do not need one. They need either more time to plan, or a direct reckoning with how seriously they actually want to do this work.
If you are a professional with an advanced education who is temporarily between incomes — a doctor in a career transition, a lawyer in a divorce — that is not the same as structural financial hardship. The scholarship exists for people in genuine need, not for people navigating a difficult season from a position of real underlying resources.
If you are working hard, earning modestly, and this program is genuinely out of reach at the standard fee — apply.
The process exists for you. Go through it honestly and completely. That honesty is itself the first practice.
