There Is No Lord and Savior. There Is Only You. PAPNEJA METHOD DR ABHISHEK PAPNEJA

There Is No Lord and Savior. There Is Only You.

Before You React — Read This First

This is not an attack on Jesus. This is not a dismissal of Christianity. This is the most profound interpretation of that moment I have ever found — one that requires understanding what a truly mastered nervous system can do.

If you stay with this, you will see Jesus not as smaller than religion made him — but as something far more remarkable.

The Concept of Misdirected Faith

We are taught that faith in a lord or savior will save us. That if we believe correctly, pray sincerely, and give ourselves to the right teacher or deity, we will be forgiven, protected, carried through.

Here is the question that breaks that framework open:

If someone can save you — why can’t they save themselves?

If Jesus, if any master, if any guru can remove your karma, your debt, your impressions — why did they still have to live out their own? Why did Jesus still have to go through the crucifixion? Why do masters still age, still suffer, still die?

The answer is simple and it changes everything:

No one can be forgiven. Not because the universe is cruel. Because karma is not a punishment that can be commuted. It is physics. Every impression created must be balanced. Every debt accrued must be paid. The universe does not make exceptions — not for saints, not for masters, not for anyone.

That means you too must live out your destined path. The painful parts included. There is no shortcut. There is no savior coming. There is only the question of how you move through what you must move through.

What Was Actually Happening on the Cross

Now look at that moment again with this understanding.

Forgive them, for they know not what they do.

Jesus was not asking God to erase the karma of the people who crucified him. He knew that was impossible. He was not making a transaction on their behalf with the divine.

He was a master of his nervous system. He was engaged with Consciousness and the Sound Current so completely that he was physically present but spiritually elsewhere. His body was undergoing what it had to undergo — paying whatever debts his journey required. But he was not in the event the way everyone around him was in the event.

Everyone else was fully absorbed in what was happening. The soldiers. The crowds. The disciples. The grief, the rage, the fear, the confusion — all of it was landing on their nervous systems and creating new impressions. New karma. New debt.

Jesus was watching from inside Consciousness. Settled. Clear. Not building new impressions because he was not engaged with the event at the level everyone else was.

His prayer was not a transaction. It was compassion. He understood that the people participating in that moment had no idea what they were accumulating. They were acting from fear, from order, from duty — not from clarity. And he wished them peace knowing they now had work ahead of them that they did not yet understand.

He could not do that work for them. Nobody can.

The Trap in the Destiny Question

Here is where it gets subtle and important.

Someone will ask — but if Jesus cleared his karma, were the people who crucified him not just fulfilling their destined role? Were they not supposed to do it?

Yes. And that is the trap.

Yes, it was destined. All of it. Their role in it, his role in it, the outcome — all of it was exactly what it was supposed to be. Destiny is perfect.

But here is what most people miss: being destined does not mean consequence-free. Being used as an instrument in someone else’s journey does not mean you walk away without impressions. You still experienced it. Your nervous system still registered it. The impression was still made.

This is why Jesus prayed for them. Not because they were evil. Because he understood they had just accumulated something heavy without knowing it. And because his nervous system was settled enough that he could hold compassion for that without being consumed by the event himself.

That is the real freedom. Not freedom from what happens. Freedom from being defined by what happens.

What This Means for Your Practice

Faith in a savior is misdirected not because the teacher was wrong but because it looks outside for what only exists inside. Jesus was demonstrating the state — not offering to be the substitute for achieving it.

Every master who ever lived was showing you what a settled nervous system, a mind connected to Consciousness and the Sound Current, looks like under the most extreme pressure. They were not saying — believe in me and you will be carried. They were saying — this state is possible. This is what it looks like. Now prepare yourself to reach it.

The karma you carry cannot be removed by anyone else. But it can be dissolved — by connecting to Consciousness so completely that the impressions no longer have a nervous system to live in. When the current leaves the body at death, what you were attached to goes with it. What Jesus demonstrated was a being so attached to Consciousness and the Sound Current that the body’s ordeal was simply something that happened — not something that defined or destroyed him.

That is available to you. Not through faith in him. Through the same preparation he had.

The Only Job Worth Doing

My job is to bring your mind to the state where it can perceive Consciousness and access your truth. That is what the Papneja Method is built to do.

Not to save you. Not to carry you. Not to be the lord of your practice.

To calibrate the instrument so you can perceive what is already there. The same thing Jesus perceived. The same thing every master across every tradition perceived — under different names, in different languages, in different centuries.

The state is the same. The preparation is the same. The only thing that was ever missing was someone willing to teach the mechanics instead of the mythology.

“My job is to help you bring the mind to the state to perceive the Consciousness and access your truth. That is what my job is.”
