fire in the wood.
The truth you are seeking is not hidden from you. The question has never been whether it exists. The question is whether you know the method to draw it out.

The fire is already inside the wood. It has always been there. It is not something that arrives from outside, not something you must earn or be granted or wait for. The heat, the light, the warmth — all of it is already present, contained, waiting inside the grain of the wood itself. And yet wood, left alone, remains cold.
This is not a contradiction. It is the central fact of the spiritual life. The truth you are seeking is not hidden from you. The belonging you long for is not locked away. The love you are reaching toward is not being withheld. It is here, fully present, exactly as it has always been. The question has never been whether it exists. The question is whether you know the method to draw it out.
The method is not belief. It is not surrender to a tradition, a teacher, an ideology, or a concept. Every tradition in history has asked for commitment, but most have made that commitment to themselves — to the institution, the lineage, the doctrine. This is not that.
The commitment asked for here is to the process — which is consciousness meeting itself through sound current, which is you meeting your own truth. It is entirely internal. It has no flag, no building, no hierarchy. What it requires is that you bring yourself to it completely.
half-wanting will produce nothing.
The fire does not appear for the person who strikes the flint once and walks away.
Kabir knew this. He said: my love is not locked in a vault. It is there for the taking. But if you do not want it — truly, wholly want it — you will not perceive even a trace of it. Not because it is hidden. Because your nervous system is not yet configured to receive what is already being offered.
The love is not imprisoned. It flows freely. But the vessel must first be made ready to hold it. And readiness is not passive — it is the most active thing a human being can do.
ON THE FATHER
Jesus said something that has been misread for two thousand years. He said: if you love your child before the Father, you are not worthy. This has been heard as severity, as the demand of a jealous God. It is nothing of the kind.
The Father is not a person. It is consciousness itself — the logos, the sound current, the living word that underlies all creation. To love the Father first means to connect to the source of all things before you relate to any particular expression of it. You must love the creator to truly love the creation. This is a one-way street, top-down. You cannot arrive at the ocean by studying a single drop. You arrive at the drop only after you have known the ocean.
You cannot feel what is being transmitted here if you cannot first connect to your own truth. This is not a concept to be grasped. It is a current to be entered.
This is why the commitment must be total. Not because the work is punishing, but because a divided attention cannot perceive what is being offered. Your nervous system and mental framework — as they currently stand — will filter out the very transmission they are seeking. The commitment is not the door to love. Love has no door. The commitment is what prepares you to feel what was always already present.
ON THE PRICE
So when someone asks about the price — why it is what it is, whether it is a gate, whether love should be freely given — the answer is this:
The love is freely given. It is already flowing. You are already inside it, whether you can feel it or not. The price is not purchasing love, access, or proximity to the sacred. The price is the act of purchasing your own commitment. It is the declaration you make to yourself that you are ready to enter the process fully.
Without that declaration, the fire remains in the wood. Not because it was withheld from you. Because you did not yet bring the friction required to meet it.
ON BELONGING
I belong to you and you belong to me. Not as sentiment. As truth. I am your brother, father, sister, mother, friend — and you are the same to me. This is family.
But you cannot feel this belonging if your nervous system cannot first settle into its own ground. The commitment creates the conditions. The conditions allow the feeling. The feeling is the recognition of what was never absent.
The wood does not become fire. It reveals the fire that was always inside it. This is what the work is. This is what the commitment is for.
If you can feel even a trace of what is written here — that is not understanding. That is the current beginning to move. That is the fire recognizing itself.
